Amazing selection, great prices. I particularly appreciated the array of spices. I got some nice orange blossom water, and rosewater. The fresh food is also very good, I got a lamb wrap.

Looking for meats that the regular chain grocery store would charge and arm and a leg for or like to cook Indian Mediterranean dishes this is the store.

I've been eating here since I was little and have loved the food ever since. I'm friends with the owner of this tiny restaurant and he's known me since then. He is very sweet! I unfortunately moved to another state 5 years ago, but every single time I come to Sacramento to visit I always come here and we say hello Always choose the same good-old dish :) - Ishdel
Soooo, I rarely leave reviews on here, go and check my profile if you don't believe me. But I stopped by here on a whim and was so impressed and amazed by the food and people here, I couldn't just let this go. Walked in, and was greeted like family. Picked what I wanted, the guy made it perfectly and the offered Lentil soup. Of course I took him up on it. Got home, sat down, took a good spoonful of soup and just sighed with relief. Amazing!! The perfect hole in the wall place to come get food!
Extremely good food. I would recommend trying this place if you are not already a regular! Get the Plate with chicken kabob, beef lamb kabob and extra chicken pieces. My wife from Hong Kong LOVES the food and the grocery selection here is great.
I wanted some meat. I ordered two meat plates- both with one chicken and one beef/lamb. "Oh I'm sorry, it'll be a few minutes because we're grilling it outside right now." WHAT. Holy crap it was delicious. The guy working (maybe the owner?) was super nice. I had time to peruse and buy a bunch of other stuff.
